How to Sign Up for a Tour
Our small groups typically fill quickly. Please contact us by phone or email to check for availability before using our online registration form.
Once you’ve determined that space is available on a tour, you can use our simple and secure online registration form to sign-up and make your deposit by clicking on the button below. A deposit of $1,000 per person, of which $100 is non-refundable, is required to reserve a spot on a tour. Deposits are payable by check or credit card.
Once you’re signed up, we’ll email a packet of information to help you plan and prepare for the trip, including a packing list, logistical details, lodging suggestions in your departure city, an invoice with the balance due, a liability waiver to sign, as well as bird lists and miscellaneous other documents to help you plan. Your final payment will be due 90 days before the trip begins.

What the Tour Includes
On backcountry trips, WBA provides guides, air charters from departure city, all meals, all general rafting/backing gear, and tents. On non-backcountry trips, WBA provides guides, air and ground transportation, and lodging; inclusion of meals varies as noted by trip on our website and in trip sign-up materials. You will be responsible for your own personal gear such as clothing, binoculars, sleeping bag, and pad, etc. as needed. A thorough equipment list will be sent to you when you sign up.
For information on what is included on international tours, please refer to the specific tour’s page.
Payment Schedule and Cancellation Policy
Most trips require a minimum group size of three people to be run at the listed price. If we must cancel a trip due to too few people, your money will be refunded or applied toward another trip, whichever you desire.
About 120 days before the start of the tour we’ll invoice you for the balance due. If you must cancel, your deposit and any payments, minus the $100 per person non-refundable portion of the deposit, will be refunded with notification to us at least 120 days before departure. With 90-119 days’ cancellation notice, all but your deposit will be refunded. With less than 90 days’ notice, no refund is available.
We recommend that you obtain travel insurance. Most policies require that you purchase travel insurance very soon after signing up for your trip. Any additional costs incurred during a tour due to factors beyond the control of WBA will be the participants’ responsibility (e.g., weather delays, sickness, strikes, evacuations, political crises, etc.) Wilderness Birding Adventures reserves the right to cancel or alter any itinerary if we feel that the health or safety of the participants might be at risk.
